Guess I should've qualified:

selling my *second* frumpet. Bought four, sold one, threw one out (total shit), had one fixed up so it's great now, have one extra.

does wife think I'm insane? yes. totally. I just bought a marching trombone that arrived this week. played trumpet and mellophone on a friend's gig last night. But she loves me and as long as I don't run us into the ground we're mostly okay (heh).

It does mean I get to do a lot more studio work: complete horn section!

yes, I have had some interesting studio work, for sure... *lots* of multitracked stuff. Eventually, I hope - in the next year, maybe - you'll start to hear stuff by a guy named Daniel Iorio, and I did some work for him - a lot in 5 or more parts. He sounds like Bowie, Bono, and Lennon in one guy... and he writes great songs. SO. But yes, in fact most of what I get asked to do is multi-track stuff, now that I think about it.

FYI, very jealous about the 100th post. damn.
