eh, coupla things.

First of all, I remember being able to see which songs I had entered into which battles from my music page on the old bandamp. Is this feature gone?

And... I also remember being able to check the current voting percentage on my songs. Is that also gone?

You'll notice you can see which songs you had entered into which battle now. Also, you can see the voting percentage on the songs which have completed the battle...

I'm not sure whether we should just allow everyone to see the votes (even without completing a battle 1st). A lot of people would probably like this. But then again, people would use that to manipulate the results of the battles... So it's really hard to say. Unless I spend a considerable amount more time trying to figure out some way around all this it's probably better to keep it as is.

Still working on getting the CSS working in IE. Once it works in IE, I'm going to consider the launch complete, and I'll send out a newsletter. It seems like traffic may have died down a bit since the upgrade. I've checked the stats, and apparently 66% of the users are using IE... SOOO, kinda a bummer there.

i wish, everyone used firefox no offenses to IE users. i do miss the small yellow patch "bandamp" on the lower right hand of the screen that directed to the home page.

showing the number of votes does make a tendency of manipulation but it also inspires the people to vote. at least it does for me. but i guess i would prefer not showing the number of votes. i really don't know arrrrrrrr............i would like to see some other system of voting because a low vote would really bring the averages and ratings down

all praises to mud for the change

I'm not sure why but when you click on the pictures in my album they are way to big now. I had resized them for the other version. Do I need to resize them again?

I'll take a look into this. However, the photo's should be the same size they always were. They just appear bigger, because they are not being "resized" as you say. All I was doing was resizing them via HTML, so basically, you would be downloading a HUGE image, and then just see it really small... but it still would take a long time to download.

SO, it would be better for you to size them the way you want. However, I may write a script to automatically resize all the images to something less than 1024pixles or something. I put it on my todo list anyways.

Ok, I just installed a new javascript. This one will automatically resize the image so it fits in the screen correctly.

Using this script now: http://lab.christianmontoya.com/thickbox-plus/

NOTE: However, your images are going to take awhile longer to load, because they are so large. A good resolution to upload is 800 pixles wide. Again, I may write a script to automatically optimize the images when you upload, but for now, this fix should be good enough.

alright, another small one...

whenever I see the new mail icon on the home page, I click it, and it goes here:

http://www.bandamp.com/signup.htmlMailbox.html

which obviously goes nowhere.

so I go back to the homepage and reload, and the link is fixed. but it happens like that every single time. just thought you should know...

Internet Explorer shoudl work perfectly now. I've not tried out the chat room, however, and perhaps some pages are having difficulties. But tested browse / about / forum / index / user pages, and seemed to be all in order.

when you view a picture, the My Home, Browse, Chat, etc tabs float on top of the picture... just a little detail, might want to fix.

Yup, that's right, you can vote for your own song now. If you feel like you deserve a 10, by all means, give yourself a 10. I know we've not done that in the past, but, I feel it does no harm.

Ahhh...not that I have a problem with it but it seems u can vote for a song more than once. Which means that if I am specially lazy and idle I can just repeatedly give myself 100%.

Actually you can only vote once... but you can change your vote....

The problem I have noticed is I can't see which songs I have voted on when I go to browse the battle...
