I'm So Lonesome I Could Cry
*
This is a Country song that is really old. Hank Williams Jr. is the Country Artist who wrote this song. A Country Legend Musician. I have always liked Hank Willams Jr. I have always liked this song. I have wanted to record this for a long time. I just never have got around to it, until today. Hank Jr. has a lot of good songs. Maybe I might record one or 2 more of his songs.
Anyway, let me know what you think of this. I hope you all like it.

I'm So Lonesome I Could Cry

Hear that lonesome whippoorwill,
He sounds too blue to fly.
The midnight train is whining low,
I'm so lonesome I could cry.
I've never seen a night so long
When time goes crawling by.
The moon just went behind a cloud
To hide its face and cry.

Did you ever see a robin weep,
When leaves began to die?
That means he's lost the will to live,
I'm so lonesome I could cry.

The silence of a falling star
Lights up a purple sky.
And as I wonder where you are
I'm so lonesome I could cry.

Williams Hank Jr

hey flyer. how are you? its been a long time.
well, i've never heard this song before. Its very nice, recording and playing is great, and so is the singing but for me, the multiple vocal tracks sound abit cluttered.

Thanks Ian...I'm doing pretty good...how have you been ?...I agree with you...I used way to many vocal tracks...I was more or less experimenting...I really don't want to delete this...I might go back and take away some of the vocals and re-post the song...I sure wont do this again, so many tracks on one song..lol....

Yeah I agree just remove some of the backing tracks, the main lead vox is real nice.

Denis....
Thanks Denis. It's good to be back. I think I'll do just that Denis. Remove some of the backing vocals. It is a bit to much..

Hatz(Greg)
Thanks Buddy. I like Hank Jr. I might do another one of his songs, after I get this one properly posted

Marino(Anthony)
I agree with you that the vox is a tad messy. I think I'll keep the deep vocals and add one track of harmony
Thanks

Thanks everyone !!!!

i like your background vocals' melody.  and if you decide to take out a layer or two (or whatever you feel like), then i think it'll sound a bit clearer.  i also like when you lead vocal drops out and lets the background vocals sing for a while.

the song seems to carry itself from start to finish quite well!  Good job
