Thrashy stuff
*
Songs haven't been coming thick and fast of late, but lots of little thrash riffs in their stead.  Maybe time to make some metal songs?  In theory, it's workable, but in the absence of a drummer, I've been toying with the idea of just playing with my hands and feet on whatever's available and treating it to bits.  No substitute for a real drummer and drum programming has never been my forte, but dammit it's fun doing it like this.  Just roughly humming riffs and hand-and-foot jamming over it with the mic at an angle over the whole must-be-annoying-as-feck-for-my-flatmate affair.

I hear ya!!!
Yup I can relate about the drummer absence.I think you had some real tight spots specially in what sounded like a double kick drum part in the beginning. The mimic vocal guitar was fun.I enjoyed the listen and yup I agree you can further develop this. Why don't you give drum programing a shot?It works for me.

lol, the drumming actually sounds quite good. that double kick pedal thing you got goin on is pretty cool. it would be cool if u got someone hammering out metal riffs on an acoustic.
I find programming music takes alot of time and is sometimes boring, but it helps if you can visualise what youre doing outside of the computer (i recently got a midi cable for my keyboard which lets me come up with things that i couldnt of done sitting in front of a screen, clicking a mouse). I'd recomend a midi drum pad machine and use a program like FL to create cool beats.

lol that one man band thing is pretty cool...I'd change what ur using as a cymbal/hihat though because its a little too shrill. I get where you're going with this tho, and yes the double bass pedal effect is pretty cool.

This is a great idea.

You could develop this further, try out as many things at your diposable and simply use your ears
to what sounds good.

I recently used some brandy crystal glasses, they were cheap and made a much better sound than
a posh set I got when I got married.

You could perhaps also get some bongos, they a relativly cheap. you could perhaps use a basic programmable
drum beat and then fill in the gaps with your home made kit
