Posted a cleaner mix.  Previous comments are listed in my personal blog.  This is a starter recording for a tune that is developing for me.  Hopefully it will turn in to a real composition.  Wish I could figure out FL Studio better so I could add drums and other instruments to my recordings.  Having trouble with timing issues -- due to my lack of music theory knowledge, but I'm giving it a go.  Any comments are appreciated.

Nice sound you have here.  The basics of FL drum sequencing are quite simple once you get the hang of it, so if the tutorials don't give you any luck just drop me a message and i'll try and explain it for you!

Yes very mellow and chilled, nice clear recording, very nice sound.
You're going to make such excellent tracks once you get your head around FL, or any other Audio Editor/Sequencer for that matter.

You are much too kind, thank you.  As noted in another post to you paganscradle, I think your voice is just wonderful.  Once I can get a good composition together, I'd be honored if you would do the vocals.  Your voice has a lofty and bittersweet tone that would match well with the kind of music I like to play and listen to.  Thanks again for the feedback, it makes me feel much more confident about my guitar playing.

Kobeshi

Thank you Kobeshi.  I have some experience with FL drum sequencing, but not a lot.  I use a multi-track digital recorder and I guess my problem is composing a drum track for a complete song that I can port to the multi-track recorder and laydown my guitar tracks.  I must map out the entire composition in measures since looping wavs on my multi-track recorder is imprecise at best.  If you (or anyone for that matter) has an MP3 or WAV that you could donate to the effort, it would save me a lot of time -- so if you're feeling generous.

And of course it's a matter of time.  I can spend hours with FL and feel like I have not made much progress, at least with composing something I can use.  I get frustrated, thinking it's because I lack music theory training, but I know a lot of ampers will kabosh that statement.  Mostly, I'm trying to find a solution that will allow me to record on my multi-track workstation, with a timing that FL will synch to when I port the recording into the software.  So far I have not met with much success.

hey!
This is quite nice... Much cleaner.. but tell me... Why the deleting the songs?  You deleted Germaniac before I even had a chance to comment...     It's ok to leave them on here....  we aren't hurtin for space...

     As for this one...

Very nice...  You should be able to mix something up in FL for this...

I might even give it a shot...  hmmm
