Another one (with lyrics)
*
Marino and VK Hard Rock song, from our band Vicious Kitty.
Hope it rocks you guys out!

Here are the lyrics (finally)!

Another One

In dark of night, my brain gains light
a thick and suffocating sight.
Idon't know where you are,
but, who you are,
well that I've learned tonight.

Our truth is lies,
beliefs defiled,
I feel relief to grieve tonight.
This world is burning down,
burns all around,
and I bathe in firelight.

Refrain:

I can't believe this night has come,
Oh God, look what my life's become,
when will my blindness come undone?
Another one,
your just another one.

Sit deadly still, I cease to feel,
this is surreal, your hidden life.
You're seeking sympathy,
you reveal to me,
but truth won't make it right.

I can't believe this night has come,
Oh God, look what my life's become,
when will my blindness come undone?
Another one,
your just another one.

Your not the first,
I have been cursed,
this madness chased me all my life.
I must escape,
disarm and face this,
and the end begins tonight.

I can't believe this night has come,
Oh God, look what my life's become,
when will my blindness come undone?
Another one,
your just another one.

Rock! i dont know if this will be an insult or a compliment, but what with the heavy guitars and sweet vox, its sounds a bit like evanescence. I think the vocals are a bit too loud in the chorus, easily fixed though.
other than that, very emotive and full sounding... tres good

these guitars and this voice.... wow

this is a combination for a new genre that I like very much. very good sound with some chilling phrases.

hey I realized that Lisa doesnt need any backing music. She is such a great singer. I am impressed everytime I listen to her.

From the beginning till the end its a great composition,...onley(and has said before) you need to mix the voice out less loud(even though i love this voice a lott),..

Great job!
some details: The voice in the chorus is a bit loud, but you can fix it so easily. And, for my taste, the guitar need a bit more presence cause it's sounds so much in the back.
But anyway is a great song!

This is awesome!  You know what the issues are so I wont repeat them.  You have a super sweet style and you and Lisa compliment eachother so well.  Cant wait to hear you on the radio!

wow!

Seemless integration of the electronic and guitar parts, excellent singing.

Very nice mix, except I think the singing could have been miked better.

I'll start by saying that everyone hears songs differently, and picks out bits dependent upon their ears and the set up of the sound system.. which is why mixing needs to be done using different audio references, and why you get the differing comments.
So.......
To my ear -
I'm not keen on the heavy phasing to start off with, I think it detracts from the punch of the track.. less is more and all that stuff; also the crash cymbals are a little high in the mix (certainly in the intro, and during the other heavy bits like at 2:05 ish).
The bass is lost.. it's there for sure, but also lacks punch.  Perhaps a little too much processing here.  I want the bass to really drive this along.
The vocals are definitely too loud in places... but that's been address!

And on the other hand.....
The construction is brilliant!  Emotive, and hard hitting, it's pieced together superbly with an exellent dynamic variation throughout.
Lisa, you vocals are spine-chillingly good.  Possibly the best voice on the amp as far as I'm concerned.
The drums are excellent.
Synth sounds really nicely used, with a good selection of tones not over used.
Guitars.... well, Marino you are a master as far as I'm concerned.  Your playing is just superb.

Love the song overall.... just think it could deliver more with a bit of tweaking!
