Het is Voorbij (Dutch)
*
Hey guys,

It has been a long time since I have posted something here.

This is a new song, it's a Dutch song.. originally written for someone like Paul de Leeuw (a known artist here in the Netherlands).

The songtext was made by Julia Hiemstra, singing and music done by me.

I hope you like it, despite most of you can't understand a word of it.

Greetings

Nice classical feel, superb production and arrangement, great vox and lovely harmonies, and very nice piano playing.

You could interpret the words if you get the time.

This is superb, high rating from me.

Well done indeed.

"originally written for someone like Paul de Leeuw" ???
But did he sing it ? Or could it have been for Marco Borsato as well?
And Julia Hiemstra did write it and sing with you on it?
Cool!
A bit too dramatically Dutch for my liking but I can appreciate your voice and your performance.

I mean that we wrote it for him, but later we lost contact so we keeped it for ourselves. I invented this music, and Julia Hiemstra created the songtext, so it IS our own creation.

Glad you guys appreciate the song

Great production indeed.
Harmonie and orchestration work great here!
Nice flute add on but a bit more of it would be even better.!
Any chance of translation??I'm looking for a sort of theme hook and It sounds like the vocals or lyrics would hold that potential but I don't understand whats said so is hard to tell.I like the bridge after the sax( ? ) solo but the sax itself could have been replaced by the flute in my opinion because of the fact that you have been introducing it in and out through out the beginning giving the Impression of  build. This is only a matter of taste and musical opinion by no means am I saying anything bad about the song. The piece is amazingly put together, sung, arranged and recorded. It gets my full vote for an excellent piece of music!

and very well produced of course
an (even)better singer could get lots more out of this i am afraight to say, dont mean bad though, just complement the possabilities of the song
