What a pleasant surprise
Just discovered kings and I am so pleasantly surprised.  Great muisc: very European (in a good sense), very 70s, very Led Zep III.  Not only this song, I just happen to be writing under it, but all of them (even if I don't understand half of their names).  Keep it coming.

Great Song Kings!  I won't comment on production or recording aspects, I leave that to the others, lets talk about your amazing lyrics, soulful voice and great guitar!  I agree with MAP in that it reminded me of Robert Plant in the Zepplin days.  Also hints of Roger Waters?  Regardless, love, love love it!

Hahaha I basically know all the words to this song.  Here's a hint of how much I love it: it's in the same playlist for when I drive with Don't Stop Believin', Ramble On and Whipping Post.

WOW! Amazing reviews !!!

bratello : I liked calling my songs Welsh names , usually very twisted and deep! In Welsh! lol
Lisa : And all that coming from a fellow lyricist and vocalist! And you do an amazing job of what you do so that must mean that this is fairly good after all ! lol
Avi : You bring tears to my eyes!!! Cheers !
Flyer : Thank you, and it's nice to hear that you think it is too!    I might have sung the vocal to the guitar track but there's no 'after mixing' or production just the right take!

You know how happy all this makes me feel ?

This Happy !

Kings, have I ever actually reviewed any of your stuff!?!  I seem to remember most of it as being very techno-based... but this most certainly isn't.

What a great song.
The playing is awesome - very skilled guitarist and quite inspiring.
Vocally, you do a great job on this.  The delivery is good all the way through, with tons of emotion in there.
The actual song construction is also great.  I love the build-up.

Nice one

This is great
Jim I'm glad you pulled this on up cause I haven't heard it either and it is a gem,   Kings the guitar work is very tight and the vocals are outstanding I just love the part at 2:16 where you sing freely and go into the high register .
man that is just intense  emotion coming out . This is a great job even if it was done on just a four track it's still rocks.  gets real high vote.

OK! I dont like spam but I have four tracks up that are from some 15 years ago , done with a Jim friend of mine !

Spectacular Sunrise - http://forum.bandamp.com/Audio_Review/3593.html
Walk On - http://forum.bandamp.com/Audio_Review/3595.html
You and I - http://forum.bandamp.com/Audio_Review/3594.html
And then this one.

Yes the rest of my stuff is techno/pc because that's what I have as a tool to use at the moment. No guitarists I know around these parts!!!

Thank again!

i just came here cos avis been singing ur praises... and hes not wrong. some people are saying led zeppelin (which it does sound like) but its funny dark mentioned pink floyd cos thats what it first reminded me of (the lyrics at the start).

anyway, whoever it sounds like, it sounds awesome. it deserves better recording quility though.

another wizard from wales!
I agree with the reference to led zep and Robert Plant
This song wouldn't be out of place on their 3rd album
If I may criticize a little it's only for the sound of the guitar it's very well play but would sound better with a more acoustic tone
otherwise it's all good your vocal are spot on
