time for the second track i want to show you..
again i asked a friend of mine (she is the singer of
the band i play in) to make the vocal track for the song..
but it's another singer than in "A Ball And Chain", now - i love to work with many
different voices.. and again (i think i can say that) i got
a beautiful voice track for my song!
This track has got a full song structure, too (with choruses
and guitar solo and stuff) - so it would be nice if you
listened to the whole thing.. i hope you like it.. looking
forward to your reviews!!

Nice song, you certainly picked a good vocalist. I liked the changes at 1.43, I think it may be better if it came earlier in the mix, change at 3.10 nice too. They both put the song at a different level and the vox sound at thier best, I think mainly due to it note range. it's at where she sounds best.
The guitar rhythm is nice, perhaps slightly too left of the pan [not sure though] I'm not a lover of the scratching thing personally, I think the song sounds good with natural live instruments, but then I'm 47 years of age and perhaps this would be preffered by the younger generation.

Yes I liked the scratched record but not in the middle of the song, beginning and end, really cool!
I thought you singer get better after the break, she has a beautiful Marilyn Monroe voice but with much more power!
Don't want to compare but I don't think this one reaches the class of 'Ball and Chain' though!
I personally don't like screeching guitar solos but the whole song is a nice production never the less.

this song is quite different to "A Ball And Chain", yes... less dry, i would say..
but i love the voice of sammy..
there is no scratchin in it.. just some vinyl-noises... this is because i thought it
was an interesting idea to use vinyl-noises as a beat (intro and brakes)..
i like natural instruments myself, too, but the only one i can play is the guitar
the whole rest i put together with a lot.. i mean.. a LOT of PC work..
