"Lovers Withdraw"

Verse 1
She came to me
like a message in a bottle
that found a home
we had a drink maybe two
we had one in our hand when we left
the bar
I was about to get a lesson thats for
sure

Verse 2
we had loving on our mind
two jet engine's
roaring in time
all four walls had
to close their eyes
I don't think the
neighbors survived
I'm surprised I'm alive

Verse 3
my heart was pounding
so loud
it was heard on every street
corner in
New York
she just left 3 minutes ago
I'm climbing the walls
waiting for her too call

Verse 4
but now she leaves me in the cold
waiting at her door
like a broken string on a guitar
she never hears anything I say at all
she taught me a lesson
for sure

Pause

Verse5
when I woke up I read  her letter
I had to find that girl
but I fell on my face
she tied my boot laces together
she taught me a lesson
for sure

Verse6
she took all my smokes
my whiskey too
she flattened all the tires on my
Oldsmobile Starfire
she pulled the phone off of
the wall
that Girl was pissed off

lead

Verse7
I tried to explain to the doctor
there was something wrong with my
head
tell me Doc why do I feel like I'm dead
he looked at his chart
he looked at me
he said
Son, don't you worry
everything is going to be OK
just listen to the words I say
your not going to die
you have a case of lovers withdraw

Good_Bye

Lovers withdrawel
well I like it for the most part imho It's a little jumbled sounding when both leads are going during the fast part. Since my lead is going on during the second and third versed, maybe you should cut my lead out during the fast part and just have schubbi's lead from the fast part on out.

still over all the mix is good  your vocals sound strong and full on this very clean and in tune.

 Great Job

well...
This is like Friday night at Josie's Bar, at about 12:30 in the AM.... Very live feel to it...  Everyones at the join getting sauced, and listening to the local band.....  Yeah......

I like the "live" feel of it... Like Goat said, it gets a bit jumbled up with both guitars, but that alos lends to the "Live" feel of it...

If only one suggestion I oculd make, it would be to try to balance out those guitars.... One should be in front and one in back, then switch, that way, it's not so jumbled, and they both get front time....

Yes it has a very live feel to it, it's the shear mass of it!
And like most live bar performances the poor singer is pushed way back into the mix.
Panning could work for the guitars but I think the vocal could do with some 'chorus' or something to bring it out, and a little panning!

You know what also works a treat? Set yourself up with Guitar Rig and put all your Audio tracks through it, it can make anything sound bloody amazing!

The song itself is good. Real good blues. but....

what about the vocals? Reverb dont fit. not bluesy enough. out of sync. Flyer you cant sing a blues with a folksong voice. sorry. I cant so I dont. Think about next time.

edit:
and please say thank you to my honest comment
