at some point there goes a lot wrong, that has nothing to do with timestretch, we just played that bad
could have been a good song though, but we never really reached that point(and never will)

How entertaining, its like the guitarist(you?) takes a shot of adrenelaine than it wears off and its time for another fix..I think somewhere in there I heard a decent tune.Like the vox.

its Hugo who played the fun part(solo) in this song, my part is way too soft mostly, somehewere in the back.

As it started, I thought: what a happy sound! And then it got all weird, and I lost that initial happy feeling, it started to sound messy. When the vocals came in I thought I was hearing The Police there, for just a brief while... and then it got messy again! And then I thought: This is very incohesive, all loose parts at different tempos with different moods, almost like "wild mood swings", with some Cure feeling to it indeed, but there's parts that make sense - it gets better towards the end. I think there are a few bits and pieces which are alright, but it's definately one big mess. I mean what got into the drummer? did his hemorrhoids start to play up or something?

i didn't make it clear enough: i messed this song up with timestretching(= changing the tempo without a change of pitch.., it doesnt do any good to the soundquality btw..)
so this song was in one metronome tempo originally, but there were a lot of rhythm changes  but it was such a louzy version that i had to mess with it

but px you're right about the cohesiveness, i made it too crazy with the tempos now
like i said, just for fun
i think i have one more or less decent recording of this song, but without keys, and that's boring, i liked this one better
so it's my only version with the keyboard part btw
sad isn't it ?   I ought to thank Sony for this (my MD player and laptop were my last sony equipment.)

O! shit I'm having one of those moments "Where the f*ck have all my comments about this song gone (scroll, scroll) while they race through my head!"

Well I really like it
though if you call it messy it sounds messy in the beginning!
Then the odd timing thing kicks in.
I hear the drummer jump once as the vocals come in and I think that the moment of silence for deep contemplation cuts-in too sharply, in that the music cuts off too sharply!
But other wise I like it a lot,
I like the vocal, I would like to hear it better though,
I like the style. Well played!
