I'll Change
*
This was recorded live back when we were a 4 piece band.
The song was new and I did't have a clear idea of what I wanted to do on the solo so it's improv.

The mix is way off (like most live stuff).

heyhey... since you said "the mix is way off" I didn't bother to listen to it through headphones... but routed it really loud through my speaker system instead!

well, nothing beats a big-hair-type-rock-bootleg anyway right! excellent for drinking beer with me mates outside in the hot sun,

and as for tune: lots of power, the drumming didn't sound too tight though, but didn't take away from the experience at all - in fact the beer-washed ears seem to dig that human touch v. well... ace solo-ing, great vocal work, the "I'll change for you" sticks to the mind like glue, dead sure I'll be caught singing that chorus at work next week ...

good job man, great stuff!

Hey, cool song!
It's a bit fast for me but it's good anyway. Sounds a bit like Van Halen mixed with Iron Maiden, or something like that...
The quality is from a live recording, so it's ok... may be the bass-drum was sounding really bad.
But nice tune, dude. You rock!

PS: I'll be waiting to work together; I'd love to!

Great rock song - so the recording sucks, but it's still better than one hell of a lot I've heard.  The solo is not so bad ( )  - the vocals are excellent as ever (but I miss the mega-harmonies of some of your other stuff).  Yes the bass drum was the worse sound in there, I agree with Iz.
As a four-piece you kicked some serious butt - as a nnnn piece you're even better!
So, have you ever done a "big band" studio recording of this song?  It'd be great to compare the two.
Nice one - go goateeeeeeee!!!

Thanks for the posts
In the drummers defense, he had only been with us about  2 weeks when we did this show. We thru alot of songs at him during that week. I thought he did a pretty goog job
considering he had to work with us  . (it ain't easy). We wrote this song right before he joined us and it still needed tweaking as a song.

Like this band. I've always been sucker for a tight, punchy band backing up a strong singer. The guitar solo is complex...pretty impressive... especially for a live performance. No complaints from me. And I agree with Swordfish and Puppet; This sounds like a good time!

F'in Yeah
I remember this song so well.  Was my favorite next to Jessie.  I used to try and hang out in the back by the bar so I could hear every note.  Danny could wail, even in a drunken stuper.

This sounds like a really good show.
Excellent song, excellent vocals.

You sure know how to get the women on your side, "I'll change for you" being the one sentence that every woman dreams of hearing from her man.
