This is a live recording (not a very good one).
This song is a lot of fun to play. still have to get it recorded.

As a "not very good" live recording, it knocks the spots off some studio recordings I've heard (hmmm, and some that I've done!)

OK, the mix is a bit off - vocals too loud, way too much reverb on them too (IMO ) but it's a decent rock song, that's performed well, and sounds good.

Another nice one from the Toasted Goats!

All instruments are in sync, vocal performance is excellent. Forget about the live mix. You'll never be satisfied...
But this performance is better than many studio recordings of famous artists.
Great work!
As for the musical idea and I give you my vote.

vocal grease
It's funny that, that much delay came thru on this. I heard the front of house/mains, and the  effects weren't that heavy. I let the sound man hook it up, so I don't know how he bussed the signals.  I'm glad you guys liked it. This songs fun to play out. It won't be to much longer  till we get back to recording (the bass players been in Hawaii lucky bastard).
thanks for your input on this.

Pretty good rock song!
Sounds a bit like Iron Maiden with Van Halen.
I agrees the vocals have a more than needed of reverb, but the song musically sounds good anyway. The mixing, for a live performance, sounds really good.
I love your music guys, keep this up.

I particulary like it because the live mix can be compared to your studio sound.

I think this is pretty okay (speaking about mix) but as usual, the rhythm guitar is too far to the back, and the vocals are too much to the front... and why for goats sake is the bass panned hard right??? ah well... it's not important...

what is important is that it rocks right on!

so KEEP ON ROCKING!

Best live recording i've ever heard.  I agree, the vocals are a little loud and theres too much reverb.  Other than that i have no complaints.  I really like the song a lot too.

sweat?
Anymore I sweat just trying to walk across the room lol.

To DominENS Thank You very much. If I'm sounding like a 70's band then I'm very happy. cuz I don't want to sound like any of the bands that are out now. Not that I don't like them, but when I go to an all original bar on any giving night, 3 out of the 4 bands playing, could pretty much all be the same band, and alot of the songs are the same.to me too. Infact I probabably like 70's sutff the best, bands like Rush, Deep Purple, Bad Company, Zepplin, Van Halen, ACDC, Lynard Skynard, I could go on but you get the Idea. I also like some new stuff just not real impressed with most of it.
i do like the Blue Man Group. theyre new.
oh and alot of the new music on Bandamp is very good.

I have alot of new material written we'll be recording it after the holidays.

So you sweat just crossing the room? because of all the panties being thrown at you?

This song is simply superb.

Thinking about what you say above, is it not just a matter of you not being able to relate to what the 'new young' bands are playing and there fore cant differentiate one from the other.
I fully agree with you on the sources of inspiration, Led Zep, ACDC etc, but they were also heard as loud moronic goof-balls at one time by some people.

I'm just being all deep and understanding, it must be the Dali Lamas influence all the way from the pit!
