this is really nice... love the intro

am I hearing ska influences? or maybe not...

cool vocals.. though I'm not diggin the delay.. just my opinion

I don't think I've ever heard your voice in your songs.... guess I'll have to check them again...

my only other critique is the abrupt ending of the song... going in to the horns... they're nicely recorded, and sound nice... but they don't fit... and then they also end too abruptly

otherwise... I like it... it "pops"

cool drums.

This sounds awesome!
Ohh, man! The classical intro really gets me and that change to the electro-beat part is great. It reminds me in some way of Beatles in the Yellow Submarine or in The Magical Mystery Tour, and that's definitely good.
Man, I really loved this one. 100%.

wonderfull intro to wake up with on a sundaymorning(like i did), when the beat started, i really woke up, really didn't expect to hear that combination, and allthough i like to be surprised, i agree with takaminer that the ending is very abrupt
a sort of coitus interuptus

i like the beats, sounds and lyrics!

but i cant get the idea out of my head there should be a sort of outbursting(orgasmic) break in the song, then go back to the theme to end it in a more satisfying way?

but maybe i just should go make my own song

I like the intro, I like the sounds used . The change to electro kind of music with the nice lead guitar in it is very cool. I also like your voice, the effect on it is nice too.

I held by breath while listening to the orchestral music and was amazed by setting this into some (I think) reggae music.

The rhythm section is great.
I love the intro and the outro.
It has a face!
It seems that behind this "song" there is a real pro musician.
Congratulation.

Now I can breath again.

orchestral meets the beatles meets 80s electro pop... that's what I said in the chat. And that's what it, musically speaking, to my feeling, is.

I REALLY LIKE THIS

And yes it's not finished yet.. hope you find some lyricists to help you expand this tune, it would be great. neat idea btw Also you could try to tighten up your vox a little perhaps double them?

aah.. thanks

the first time I listened.. I was focusing more on the music than the lyrics...

this time I paid more attention, and the transition to the horns makes sense...

good work...

Well, I wasn't sure at first: the blending of electro and orchestral (the latter of which is really nicely done), sort of confused me.

But then the "groove" gets going, and it's great.

Again, when you start singing I just wasn't sure about the vocals - but then found myself wandering around singing "ride in my tank, cos it's a killer car".

At the third change, when the horns come in I wondered where you were going to take me next - and then it ended!!!  I really wanted more, so I guess it must be a good song

Overall, it's a song that (to me) needs more than one listen.  At the 2nd time around I thought that the classic start fitted really well.  Even the Beatle-esque vocal style, linked in with some intelligent lyrics, go well with the music - and the construction makes sense and is well done.

Recording's pretty good, with a nice mix.

And now I want more!  So get writing and finish the thing........... what happens to Capt. Jack?!  It needs to be answered

Good work fishman!
