This is the acoustic version of a song I composed for a competition with some school... for a drum kit as prize.
The idea is to play a funky song, so you must figure how this could sound and funk, and with a funky vocals too.
I just sung in a clean way so we can be selected, cause the idea of the song that are selected is that must be clear, but as we classify I'm gonna change the whole way of singing... Hehehe.
Lyrics are in spanish, but I'll post them anyway so If you want to read just use a translator.

Pretty good, guitar recorded well, your voice recorded very clean, balances are very good.

what can I say to this?
Its hard for me to imagine some funky rhythm to this. I played some instruments to it. But I cant play in a funky style. maybe another member could do this. I am missing some 7th minor chords in the song. The tune is too smooth to become a funky song. IMO the fuzzy fx to the solo guitar sounds a bit too synthetic like a plastic bag. Should sound more like a distorted guitar on a tube amp. But this is ONLY MY opinion.
The song by itself is well done. The buildup is good and Ive heard some catchy elements that might be perfect to tap clap and dance to it. You'll see the crowd will do that. Good luck with the contest. Cross the fingers

Just a powerful bass line and some wah-wah on the guitar, and a more Chilli Peppers singing and there will be.
Hope we get a good place cause then the school will a studio to record it.

Add some pop and slap bass and drums and you've got prime funky material!
For most of the song that is. The rythmy parts are very funky. pop and slap bass, that's what you need!

The solo is not funky enough compared to the rest. Need more funky. And bass. Pop and slap bass is funky. Funky funky funky.

i like the acoustic guitar in this and the vocals sound great.i am a drummer and i think that every song should at least have a little bit of percussion in it but this did great without it.
