I recently moved back to the town I grew up in after being away for many years.After looking around things were quite a bit different than I remembered.I heard a saying once something like you can`t go back home that`s where this song came from.I recorded it very quickly I need to do a better job when I get the time.

Sorry, while it may be a nice simple piece of music - and don't get me wrong, I do like it - it's also the same chord sequence as Streets of London!!!

The lyrics are good though, as is the recording quality, and the playing's pretty nice.  But .......

The guitar playing sounds nice, with a well constructed melodic structure.
But I have to say I didn't like the way you sing. I felt as if you were singing pressing your  nose. You should also take the voice a bit more back of the mix.

It is really soo much like Streets of London.... I mean, it's like the same song....  interesting...   I can say that this has happened to me.... and a few others... it isn't intentional I'm sure.... you find something that sounds good, only to find, someone else already found it... although, Streets of London is a classic... so you even could have been influeneced by it subconciously....

  Anyway, it is a nice rewire of a classic... I like your vocals for it...

after Jiminuk posted that this song is the same as Street of London I downloaded Streets of London ,I had never heard it before.The chord progression is similar,but the melody isn`t the same.I don`t  think they sound much alike with the exception that they are both fingerpicked and the vocals are low
