Cruelty (Remake)
*
Hi,

This is the remake of cruelty, and this version will be on the radio .
Made this song together with help from
Bob (here Wisdom)
and Michel

The mixing still could be better, but I just haven't got the technology to do that :P. We will record it in a studio sometime .

Steven

I have to listen to the position 1:15 a few times. I think its a bit out of sync. The second time at 2:21 is done better. Good feeling at 3:00 to 3:28. You should push up the drums a bit. I cant imagine that a five minute song is played on the readio. But I wish you all the best and good luck to publish this tune.

Yes it's true that it sounds a bit out of sync, altough in the mixing process it was in the good position, and the song can be played with a methronome.

About the radio, it will be played on 2 small stations .

This mix sounds great. I like this version so much better. You have a nice voice but I can't tell what effects you've put on it other than reverb. I think getting into a studio for the vox would be the next step bc although I don't like over processed vox, IMhumbleO, your voice would sit much better with some more bass eq. But as they are now, they're nice and up in the mix just fine. Hope I explained what I was trying to say. Congrats getting some radio stations to play it. That's wonderful and it has a great message.

a wow! this sounds way more contemporary - never throw the other version out though, that's a great alternative 80's mix (with extra cheese!), but agreeable, this is MUCH better. Great guitar sounds! I want to be played on the radio too!

Thanks for the comments , hope it will be appreciated on the radio.

To CreativeControl: There are no other effects on the voice apart from reverb .

Yeah, I think, for this song it would suit it nicely to bring up the bass in your voice.
