Harmonies
I think you have done a great job of putting it together. The vocal level gets a bit hi at around 2:08? Thumb strumming is perfect for this song, I agree.
Drums may kill this song though, I know you may take it into consideration, but really, this is a great love song by itself.

Amazing voice.

Very good recording, not too much reverb. Harmonies work nice.

Sweet composition. Nice sounding guitar.
Overall- very good.

Thanks for sharing that.  I enjoyed listening to it.

IMPORTANT!!! problem
I donwloaded the MP3.

Your ID3 tags are missing.

If you are using Windows right-click on the MP3 file,
Goto Properties/Advanced click on the fields in there.

It allows you to enter Title, Artist, Year.

This is important!

Do this before you upload the file!!
Maybe BandAmp will let you RE-upload,
or maybe Admin will do it for you?

Thanks bill! I don't think I'll re-upload it. I'm just hoping anyone who downloads it will rename it once it's on their computer.
My name is Dawn Kelley btw whoever wants to put my name on it too.
Thanks for downloading it, that's sweet!

Points 1+2 :
I think you should nothing change with your voice or the recording of it. It's so lovely.
and the reverb  on the song sounds perfect to me.
The guitar is also nice. I'm not a specialist to give you advice in recording techniques ;-) so the best thing I can say it which could help you a little is:
The stucture of your song seems clear and because there's only guitar and vocals it sounds very simple (not simple in a bad way,  i imagine the private conversation you mentioned).
So I like the feeling  and espacially your lovely voice, the pleasant melody..
I'm always impressed by people who can make a good song only with theirselves and a guitar ;-)... so to say it remembers me of some quiet starsailor or coldplay (parachutes only ;-) tracks.
In German I would say: Wirklich ein verdammt guter Song ;-)

.. and damn the check spelling box doesn`t work yet...

Yea, I go with Amused: "werkelijk een verdomd goed liedje." (oh that's in Dutch)

Do you have any other songs btw? When can us fans expect a new song upload?

I'm responding again because I recently threw a party, and I fed my itunes lib into the p/a. Most of what I have is up tempo underground rock kindof music, plus some techno and d 'n b, but well, your song is in there too. And yes, it did come up... right after "tormentor" by skinny puppy. Very nice contrast. I'm sending you praise in name of all my friends, who were, btw, drunk at the time.

Well done! You have a very nice and soulful voice which you have captured here very well. Its amazing the amount of intimacy you can get from just a voice alone. To answer youre questions,

1. Yes, very intimate not weak at all, and no, not too much reverb, looks like you have a good ear for this stuff. You must have a fairly decent mic eh!?

2.  Your harmonies do blend well, however there are some bits where the introduction of a second voice makes the level too high. Remember, 2 voices sound louder than one (which can be used to your advantage as I'm sure you are aware). As Daeljan suggested, play with the pan a bit maybe and you can get some really nice spacial sounds that can really compliment the vocal particularly in a song like this. Be careful though to keep it all balanced with the listeners focus on the main vocal.

3. Guitar sounds good, suits the mood of the song for sure. Someone suggested using a couple of mics as well, but couldn't say if it would make things better as I don't have all that much experience with that.

Overall, I like it, but most of all love your voice. Well done!

Answers, and questions.
1. The vocals (in my humble opinion) were right on. Reverb sounds good to me, but the low res stream doesn't really tell the whole story, so you'd need to look at that yourself.

2. Harmonies........ mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm. They are so good I could taste them! Don't touch.

3. Guitar stumming was better than fine, though I could detect a hint of "guitar not 100% in tune" in there. I have very good pitch (when listening).

Now I've answered your questions, please answer me this... why is it you have only this one song on here? I need to hear more. Please, share some more!

*This song has landed on my playlist!*

This is really not the type of music I listen to - but I just keep coming back to it!!!

Girly?  Yes it is.  Simplistic? Absolutely.  But it's a really nice song!  I think what sells it for me is your voice - very haunting, and the vocal harmonies are great too.  Sorry I joined Bandamp too late to vote for this one in Oct.

When are you going to post your next song?
