Most important is being patient. At our age these issues can need much, much time to become better. Weeks, maybe months-sometimes even yrears.    Eagerness or too early strain are the wrong way. Relaxation techniques (Jacobson) can help when spasms are causing your pain. Physiotherapy also.

I hope your doc will find a good way to help you soon.

All the very very best to get better , Denis. I“m slightly fretting for you .

Haven“t been a big Bee Gees fan, but I like(d) their funky disco stuff of the 70s era. saturday night fever.
They were something like a "lifelong escort".  Heard “em first time as a lil boy in the 60s. words.

Hi Denis hope you are on the mend I know this sound light but please go see a physio therapist .Muscles tendons that go ping off the bone. Age mate thats what it is .
One exercise that helped me is
Stand side on next to door or wall extend arm out & place palm backwards& tilt head & gently lean 4rd . Feel the stretch inside arm right up your neck. There are some really good ones .
Get well soon duckie

cheers

Denis .... Aaaaaa .. Saviour of the Universe bom bom bom bom bom bom .....

Positive enough ?

Havent been skyping at all ... as I told you I'm busy .... but your in my thoughts ...

Yes! You need a good physio therapist, that's all , ask him/her what exercises they would recommend you do at home .... because you really really want to heal ....  keep on going to see them regularly and put your body and mind on the case ..... like any thing you must really want it your self,

My body is my temple or my body is my tool .... it is SO INCREDIBLY TRUE

While in this life you are not separate from your body .... take it personal !

I'm going to physio 1 June, six week waiting list here in the UK, still yeah I'll be asking them what excersises to do, at the moment I walk three times a day and do gentle movements to my shoulder and right arm. I read somewhere so long as it's not hurting when I do a specific exercise, then all is good, so I'll be doing long walks, but not as crazy as Forest Gump

6 weeks ????? laughable .... seriously
I phoned my physio therapist on Monday morning, I was on his table at 4pm lol ... lower back problems
he told me exactly what I should be doing in my own time (he knows me by now), he explained in depth what was going on and how I probably got there and I get 28 sessions in a year on my insurance package ... mind you we have a family policy which does cost around 250eu a month

Can you sit on a train? have a short break .... we could put you up for a while

Once I've paid off my mortgage hopefully at the end of the year, I'm going to get private medical health, think it's about £200/ month for one person.
Thanks for the kind offer of putting me up - I'd consider it if I was 100% fit, hate to be a burden on anyone even my own family, believe me.
