1 - I don't know if you're still reading these messages, Spencer, but I'd like to point out that not everybody on the internets needs another social site. Facebook and Myspace have more than disgusted me. when it comes down to it, it's about website traffic. You need some, we've got some. If you had a product (site) that was as successful as you want it to be, it would *our* site. So.. that boils down to what TheKunadiun told you right off the bat.
2 - You're quite simply more interested in helping yourself *to* the indie community, not "helping *out*" the community.
3 - Music isn't about getting paid.
