The ̵L̶a̶s̶t̵ Reunion
*

This song is not in a battle

Part 3 of 3 !

Just before I was about to go to sleep I thought to myself, "I didn't touch my guitar today.... I should at least try soemthing before I got to sleep."

I was mashing random stuff as I always do - and I came up with something I liked and very excitedly, ran out and recorded it before I went to sleep. I listend to the random stuff I play the next morning and expanded on my ideas and came up with this

I don't know if the strikeout will appear but:

Here's to hoping it won't be the last reunion after parting ways.

Nice For some reason I picture this being played as the soundtrack for a happy little silent film.

Yes, as Max said: itīs like a soundtrack . Includes some gypsy-jazz and folk elements.
Worthy to be worked out.
A "honky tonk" piano sound could fit and drums played with brushes.
Just an idea

Hehe thanks I'm really inspired by Django's style

There's a key change and some extra notes which may sound like a modular change but it's just a phrase so I don't know if it counts as a modular change.

It's my soundtrack for my happy little short film in fact hahahaha. The "film" being a few weeks of my life.

Tom & Jerry soundtrack
Just needs polishing up - timing wanders a little

Actually, I'm not sure about the modular change part. I know I've changed keys but I add so many .... non major scale notes that I don't know the theory behind it.

Do you?

If you don't mind could you point out the timing where it staryed out of time so that I know where to fix? Hopefully it's not all around, besides the ending. (Just realised it)

So you know very little about software recording and editing and vsts and ....

You just play guitar......

Something tells me bandAMP could be good for you.

This needs happy, hopeful, in the wind vocals .... get composing and producing

hahahah yes, during my break I'll be very very busy exploring all the possibilities. BandAMP has got me really excited but also sad that about the lacking money for gear part   I've been saving for a guitar for quite some time, thinking all I'd need after that would be an amp but suddenly -- I have a shopping list

I'm planning to cover a song for a university event and get your feedback (because I don't sing much) but besides that, I don't really like adding vocals because I'm hate the idea of singing crappy/cheesy lyrics if their mine... and just picking a title for my songs takes me ages.

I have material that's just waiting for vocals to be added too but for this I have -- visions for this to be all jazzed up with a long improvised section in the middle. (maybe a few sections of vocals after the introduction or resolution)

Actually I do play some very basic drums and harmonica and piano too. The latter which will be very useful with VSTs and a keyboard
