Hi I'm new and here's my first song of a 3 part series. I would upload all 3 into 1 post if I could.
The entire recording is done one 1layer with and Ipod Touch Mic I have no knowledge and less gear and money (the currency exchange means that everythings is 3-5 times more expensive) to venture further into better mics or other stuff
But anyways here's part 1 of 3, all acoustic nylon solos.
Part 2 : http://forum.bandamp.com/Audio_Review/8574.html
Part 3 : http://forum.bandamp.com/Audio_Review/8575.html

Also enjoying this. Reminds me a little of some of the old/early Denison Witmer stuff I used to enjoy, minus the vocals of course. Nice background music for working to, chill and relaxing.

thank you

Thanks.
I had that "moment" when I finally came up with that name. I labelled earlier drafts/versions as "Two" or "Two Worlds", both of which sounds really lame.
However, when I uploaded it on youtube I'd found 2 other totally different songs with exactly the same title hahaha. I've been feeling like less of a genius ever since haha.
At least my punctuation is different though

Very nice. Yeah, the acoustics could have been better, but the guitar playing was great!
Nice job, welcome to BandAMP!

You know, everyone I showed it to, whether they liked it or not, almost everybody seemed to be amazed by the sound quality (Or maybe it's just that they never heard a nylon guitar sounding like that before heheheheheh).
But anyways when everyone here comments on how bad it is I know that there will be a lot of things to be learnt here
This is very good, thoughtful, emotive, competent playing JieXian... I really enjoyed it.
So the recording isn't brilliant - actually it's pretty impressive considering that you've not had a proper mic to do it with. It's clean and clear - and I've heard much worse with so called decent microphones.
Well done.
More please

Thanks Jiminuk ^^
I hope you don't mind the youtube links but here's the videos with the changes I made, added 9dB of bass at 200kHz and used the stereo delay technique posted by Denis (splitting the track, delay 1 side by 12ns and setting each side to pan 100% left and right respectively).
Actually since my mic hardly picks up the bass sounds, the bass boosted audio is quite accurate, although I'm worried that it might me too much

The Haas effect 12ns tweak makes perfect sense and it's simply magic.
