Can't u C
*

This song is not in a battle

ok, lyrics and singin still suck, as this is only the next stage from my former upload:

http://forum.bandamp.com/Audio_Review/1919.html
(Not Finished Yet)

instruments are still the same, only less synths
but the mix is totally new, i'd like some reflection on that

i overdone the reverbs a few ton here and there (it didn't make the vocals better, i noticed)
isnt the bass a bit too loud?

still workin on the synths/piano mainly to get that right before the new takes, new lyrics and new singer(yet to be found!!)
a lot of doubt over the piano in the refrain..

well, that's all..

re: Can't u C
Hey................
I love the feeling as the bass sucks u in.......So leave the rich bass please
guitars great..............
ok u dont like the vocals
The words are the core of the song so need 2 be clear as glass
they would be ok if clearer in the mix .........the words are a liittle ( not alot ) lost in the back half of the song........................master compression or track eq changes might bring out the words...................i can hear them but they get swamped by the beautiful bass and ensemble sounds you have created

Nice Orchestral sounds here ...........Edirol?.........cool
I vote very good

I think the bass is very powerful like this this, makes for a really hot, sweaty, pressing, intimate mood...

and the mix is crisp (except the vocals, though even now they work... I will probably prefer them like this instead of the final version, if I'm right about where this tune is headed).

I didn't hear any instrumental anomalies, in terms of whether they were fitting or not. So I guess the piano was fine...

cheers!

tnx for the sharp ear Sword! indeed i only worked the music, not the vocals yet, since i hope to replace them, just as the lyrics, but you are right anyway, i sort of forgotten them
sounds are from Reason 2.5 btw

and Puppet, I hope not..

well, next time must be the final one then..

oh yeah Dodo, i love you, your my biggest fan!(my only)

Very pro arrangement. Lovely, expensive guitar sound. Nice working of parts which sit extremely well together. This will sound superb when you've reworked the vocals.

actually, the guitar is my sisters, i borrowed it 25 years ago(guess she wont miss it anymore), and it definitly was a cheap one,

but it sounds allright indeed, below the 7th fret that is..

Expensive mic then? (grasping at straws here but it does sound rather good).
And, furthermore, why does MY guitar not sound like that? Oh yes, because I can't play it.

Behringer B2 condensor mic, not really special, lo output for sure!

i think your misleaded by the dig. graph. eq and reverb of my Yamaha dig. mixer, i eq-ed it rather extreme ont he high end, which is no habit of mine, actyally, i tend to cut the frequencies rather than boost lately, except for some cases, like this one
i had to take the hiss on the first notes for granted for that

Could this fit on a porn movie?
No way, I like it a lot. The guitar playing is really good.
Good job, dude!

Very classical. I like it. Turn the vocals up a bit so they rise more above the funky guitar. Good job!

Really interesting style here.  I was about to call it 'chilled' music, and it is, but at the same time it isn't.  Its something more, and I don't know how you've done that, but it sounds really good for it.  Great track; can't wait to hear it with new vocals, though the current one's aren't half bad at all!
