Hey!

I just kept repeating this song, really nice one!

the song is well build-up. Really cool FX on your voice and the guitar.

There are only 2 comments I have for you:

1) Maybe you could gate your voice, cause in the intro, I hear the noise of your mic coming in with your vocals. (althought it is a nice effect in the song on itself too so it depends if you meant it this way or not )
2) maybe you could make the drum sound (hihat) a bit less sharp.

But damn, I'm really jealous of this song!

Dude, if I ever get a good enough guitar to actually sound semi decent we should do some stuff together.
This is sweet. I like this sort of music, chilled out, deep, has a purpose...a meaning.
Keep it up man.

ah, how could I have missed this one? I only heard the Devo mash-up of this

lyrics and mood are really good.... you have a great way of soundscaping - it makes me jealous - when I was your age I had to do with a 4 track fostex cassette recorder.. . The only "synth" at my disposal was a Solina b-200 (granny type organ) which was also the only effects device I had, if I routed my guitar through it's onboard reverb. Not something to take with you on a gig though.... figures

anyway that's all off topic.. what's on topic is that this indeed DOES kick... you sure know how to put a song together... instruments and lyrics... everything.

praise...

Wisely mixed and mastered!
The whispering bass gives me a pleasant feeling in my stomach.
Maybe I wish the drums would be a bit more hidden...
Very Very nice construction this song makes you move your head.
Your voice fits perfectly - it's quite ironic hearing you sing "life goes on" but it sounds very depressive (maybe that's not what you wanted to express but my own interpretation of it)
Got a very high ranting from me

Nice intro, lovely guitar sound.
Good sounding voice.
Not sure about the level on the second voice, perhaps a little too loud; as is the violin when it comes in - well played, but a little too up front in the mix.
It's great when the bass and drums come in - they really add to the mood of the whole piece.
Really decent sounding guitar in the solo, which is well played and fitted in decently.

The overall construction is excellent.
Recording quality is excellent.

I really like this, despite some of the minor bits that I've mentioned above (although you fade out the ending, which I'm not keen on! )
