I know this must seem like a daft question and i know youre all thinking: "because that way every 1 one can understand each other idiot!!" but i think it would be interesting to see other languages except english.

P.S. if there is allready a thread along the same sort of lines as this please forgive me but i have neither the time nor the enthusiasm to troll through every thread to make im not repeating something.

well, you are right about the english thing.  most people here do understand it.  there are several song entries that are in a different language though, and on occation, when a member knows that language, they have a bit of a back and forth

sorry to some of you foreigners... but the whole idea is that yes... everyone is supposed to be able to understand each other... and the creators of this site live in the US... and we speak english... and lots of the forgeigners still speak english anyway...

it's very common on IRC for people to get kicked out for not speaking english... i don't see why it should be any different here... if all of a sudden this turned into a german forum i'd have no way to admin/moderate it cuz i'd not know what posts were what much less have any idea what the tech support questions or feature requests or abuse reports were really saying...
