Yes! I (still) have a Sound Blaster Live Card, pretty old by now though it's still going strong.
It took my 'Primary Sound Driver' as it's first choice, I tried the 'SB Live Audio' option but it's not much better, I've got it on ASIO DirectX Full Duplex at the moment and it sounds much better.
It's taken it's own buffer settings at 2048 samples (46ms). And the ASIO panel has SBLive as it's default in /out.
Glad to hear it's been running right for so long ! 

LOL! Well, no wonder you are having buffer problems...  I believe Fl will always default to the primary sound driver immediately after install as well as a 2048 buffer rate.  Its always best to select ASIO if its available, although ive had mixed results depending on the card...  I highly recommend that you eventually break down and buy an external sound card..  you should do much better with that.

I think I may just un-install EVERYTHING than re-install it.then maybe it might work.
but it will be a very long process

lol well map i found a  download for fl6 with the crack i couldn't use yours because my parents blocked bandamp but i'll talk to them and see if i can't get them to un block it but for now im stuck checking in durring library and computer classes!!!!!! anyway i cant wait to get some stuff done this afternoon in fl6!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
