i don't really see myself packing for a desert island, not even sure if the desert has islands or not.  If you meant deserted island then why all means I'm packed ahead of time for that .....  Just curious though where am i gonna get batteries for the mp3 player lol.    hmm  I'd say I'd have to trade mine for ... water, food, and ............
Kate Beckinsale.

Blue Murder...........Blue Murder
Come Sail Away ........Styx    (not really)
lamplight symphony ....kansas
born under a bad sign.........Paul Rogers version
Bridge of Sighs..............Robin Trower
Red House ..................Hendrix
In the light....................Led Zepplin
anything off of..... Darkside Of The Moon...  Pink Floyd

I can't go without my music ..so that's it I'm not going anywhere near the desert . lol

No I did mean "Desert Island".

A deserted island (also known as a 'desert island') is simply any uninhabited island: the word "desert" in this context is an adjective meaning "desolate and sparsely occupied or unoccupied," and does not imply arid desert weather.[1] Such islands are commonly invoked in metaphor, literature, and the popular imagination.

GoatMan!!!
I gotta admit you think alot like me..
in each mood.. lol..  but entheon had
one good Idea I would offer to you
also.. a bow and arrows.. maybe a
bowie knife.. and well a shovel...
could be a military style folding shovel,
but hell give me a good ol fashioned
big garden spade... the pointed end
kind...  with a good strong oak handle..
I think all the above would help add to
your idea...

Danny

my great uncle's 1965 Harmony Master Guitar with nylon strings....

Alabama Rain - Jim Croce
Behind Blue Eyes - The Who
Curtis Lowe - Lynard Skynard
Catfish John - The NewGrass Who a.k.a. Revival
Statsboro Blues - Allman Brothers

because I always feel very relaxed when any of these songs play or
I am playing them..

That's not fair.  But here goes:

Don't Stop Believin' - Journey
Tiny Dancer - Elton John
Since You've Been Gone - Powderfinger
Bats In The Belfry - Dispatch
Alive - Pearl Jam

These aren't my favorite songs.  Just what I'd want on a desert island.

This is all moot, because I'm a pirate and I'd have a ship.  Pft.

I think i'll take a guiitar (and a multitrack recorder) and make my own music instead of listening to the same 5 songs over and over?

well, ok my five would be:

wish you were here - Incubus

wish you were here - Pink Floyd

great gig in the sky - Pink floyd

Feeling good - muse

I dont have the map - Idlewild

Am I evil ain't by Metallica. It's by Diamond Head! I only learnt that a year ago. Before that, i was blissfully ignorant! Unless, you meant the Metallica version, in which case, i apologise!

I would take:

Jason Rebello - Summertime (Fantastic cover of the Gershwin classic)
Herbie Hancock - Watermelon Man
The Clash - Lost in the Supermarket
Metallica - For Whom the Bell Tolls
Capdown - Ska Wars
