Dead Kennedies, on my list, I've only really heard a small selection of their material, my english teacher was into them, so he played some for the class upon the basis of protest music/speeches etc... I wasn't too fond of them either...
I also noticed, it wasn't a real huge thing for Australian bands, the real stand out bands (that I can think of) are Bodyjar and Eskimo Joe, with the Living End being borderline on rock...
