Due to the size of a grand piano it's hard to get it over the canal in the pocket. So what I need is a piano, a mic and a happy croud listening to the songs for about 30 min.
Let's put some songs together,, all original stuff or a mix of both covers and originals ? Maybe some songs off the amp ? stuff we can chart out fairly easy, base it around some fairly common chord progressions like
I, IV,I,V,I,IV,vi,V,I aaba or something along those lines just to get a structure together for some ideas ? Just throwing ideas out there.

been talking to a member of the organising committee for feedback on the idea of BANDAMP providing a live music stage at the AUDLEM FESTIVAL 2013
He advises me that the the initial feeling is very positive
BUT ... the final decision to provide a stage...venue has to be approved in committee
SO ..... thats a positive .....without a doubt
I will point them at this thread to get a feeling of our community
our potential line up looks great
OK its 10 monhs away
I WANT OUR ACT/organisation TO BE TOGETHER if they say YES....and Im sure they will
as the bandamp-stage promoter/organiser I will need commitment months in advance
to make it perfect

As u can see it is a writhing hotbed of songwriters /producers/performers
I think It might be possible for the site to provide a 2 -3 hour live set provided by uk or eu members that will please your festival audience

tonite had a telephone conversation with one of festival organisers
He advises....
they are very positive and nodding heads ++++ for a BANDAMP stage
but the proposal still needs to go before the organising commitee to give it a final confirmation
so watch this space ..........
Im pretty excited cos Im sure they will say yes!!!!
call it intuition!!!
best thing i can do is find out when they are having the meeting ....then let you know
in the meantime ,,,,,,
as much interest as you can show on this thread
as i will tell the festival organisers to check us out ..... i think thats fair

ok.. things change quickly, I just hooked up with a solid working band, they lead guitarist is down for quite awhile. Kidney transplant (that seems to be doing great so far). The band has gigs up throught the end of next summer, I'll have to set down with their calender and see exactly what's up. I'll get back with you if I can make it.
