It's nearly christmas again!

Are we going to be doing a new christmas song collaboration?

got any nice christmas song?

I've got my own christmas song I'm working on, it's an 8-bit videogame song at the moment, but the layout could work as a proper song, so I could put it up, list the chords, maybe write up some lyrics and see who's game to bring guitars and drums etc, kind of like what happened with the sudden sunset collab =P

Just an idea. But I think the tune would work great as a full chrissy song.
Gotta finish it first though.

Although the 8-bit version that I'm working on has more of a definite layout and has different parts from the main melody, although I'm still sorting out a chorus.

I'm up for that, but we'd need some parts where vocalists come in - because loads of people do vocals, then we can get as many people invloved as possible.

What did you use to create that song?

Fruity Loops studio.

I'll try and get up that newer version asap, I think I've almost finished it.
Then I might try for some lyrics and I'll put in a synth to show the melody so y'all can sing to it if ya wish!

This time last year, the song was ready for people's vocals, so we're going to have to be even quicker this year to get it finished in time!

Also, I've got lyrics for another christmas song, so that could be a secondary option if time runs short.
Otherwise, it'll just be a belated christmas collab, unless anyone's got something else ready to go.

Feel free to give ideas on how to go about collabing this tune, lyrics are an issue that needs resolving, also, converting 8-bit to actual guitars and proper sounding drums and things like that.
Yeah, the issues of rhythm guitar, bass and lyrics will make a key contribution to the collab. Also, a simple lead is required and the background melody should be seen to aswell.

I'll add some vocals when I get back from college, and then I'll try to get an announcment up so people can choose what they want to do.
