i was wondering what were the funniet band names you've ever heard of? People these days are very creative with their names and sometimes you wonder what the hell inspired them.

like finger eleven used to be called RAINBOW BUTT MONKEY......

A band here in Missouri was called the "Butt Fucking Pirates" for quite a while, but they couldn't play in some clubs so they changed it to, "Please Listen To Us." Heh... they have a song called, "buy more beer" its rediculous...

Yeah, last year they played as "Please Listen To Us" in st. joe, they played alot of highschool partys and stuff. I could upload "buy more beer" if I could find the album.

The funniest band name I've heard is an east coast trio with a guy guitarist and drummer and a female vocalist, called Beauty and the Beats.

I'm not sure if it's the funniest... well I thought it was funny. It's clever, that's what it is. Why can't I think of these things?

I played in a band called The Skull-Fucking Dickfaces. Not really a "funny" name eh? We played speed-funk-metal sortof. Very fast.

Acid Abe & The Idiots? Dr. Dildo & the Drooling Duncės? Oh, I liked Alice Deeper & The Inner Glory.

None of these bands exist (or I should say: are active) anymore. Uh yeah, I was in all of them... Nowadays trying to get Centerfold Submarine (try figure out what dat all about!) and Tom Tripper & The Intentionally Lost off the ground. In the meantime I'm putting a solo live project together, simply as Puppet Xeno.

Don't steal these names eh!

Also, I think "Toasted Goat" is a real weird name for a band.

I like a lot of the diffrent names that are out there. I have a friend of mine that played in a punk band called
Dick Gravy And The Semen Demons. My guitar teachers band is called  Harryballzacks.

well me I used to fantasize about being in a punk band with a female lead singer and we would be called "Menstrual Cramp".....I also like Organized Confusion but I don't know if its used.

My band's drummer (and you have to forgive him as he's only 16) also plays in a school band called "Cupid's Stunts" -  It probably goes down really well in the local schools, but somehow I can't see them going far with that name!
