I think I'm gonna start following you the way a seagull follows a fishing boat (because you seem to cast off some good things as you go along). This is yet another remarkable player. Also check out his version of "Layla" and "Little Wing". Amazing how much music can flow out of an acoustic guitar (in the right hands). Also, I checked out this guy(who happened to be at the bottom of the same YouTube page). Not the same approach (at all...basically no comparison), but still impressive (another cover of "Little Wing")

:O) follow away! what a wonderful compliment........& really...i'm just an old player......with many jealousies of great players i've come across.
he has a cd out called "One Wing" where he does all "Wings" tunes.
i met lawrence. he played at a church on Woodward Ave. in Detroit. about 100 of us sat mesmorized. & he played a song dedicated to my dad. "When Harry got to Heaven."
my bro, sister-in-law & me mentioned that our father, Harry, had died not too long before, his concert with us......& when he got back to stage (the altar) after the break.....he played for my dad.
pretty friggin' cool. i'll never forget it.

What a nice bloke that Jimkdaadtman is
I could repay the compliment by saying that I've got "horse with no name" by Mr Koontz on my mp3 player just because it's a great cover!
But commercially - Born to Run by Frankie Goes to Hollywood is one of my favourite covers, and Achilles Last Stand by Dream Theater also a classic (one track in a song called Big Medley I think).

Everybody always forgets the Raincoat's version of Lola by the Kinks. Huzzah for avant-folk?
I forgot Duran Duran's cover of Public Enemy's (yes you read right) 911 is a joke.
