Hey Any Videographers out there?
Seems Pattersonl and I stumbled across this idea simulataneously...  but I know there are some gifted artist out there that delve into the video side of things...  How about making videos for some of the tunes here at the Amp?
I think it would be a great expansion of the Amp..  Anyway.. ideas, comments...  Volunteers?

P.S.  we could host off site and just provide links....

I've been considering it.  I wanted to youtube a crazy solo but I'm terrible and it's funny as opposed to the downright cool that I expect it to be.

Ahh, like that.  Yeah, no chance of that happening.  Last time I got sucked into that I got in too deep.  I'll stick with music, programming and graphic design as my geek hobbies now :P.

I like that idea a lot
I don't know much about computer but would it be so hard to be able to upload videos as we upload songs?
I guess we just need some kind of "player"
It seems easy enough to add that kind of thing on myspace so maybe it wouldn't be that difficult to have this option on the Amp
Space might be an issue though

If not, Vincent, we could load them to Youtube and then put links up here in a new section.  Ive talked to Downchuck and he said adding new sections to the forum will be the easiest part of modifying the Amp.  So with any luck we'll get our interview section and perhaps a video link section?

Yeah, Vincent and I talked to Downchuck about adding video capability and he says that Wimpy has a video player and there is plenty of room on the server, so it shouldnt be a big deal to add it to the Amp!  Lets hope we can make it so!

Minds : Why cant you have another word with Downchuck and ask him to 'temporarily' and 'on request' allow members who have a video on youTube to post HTML ? the actual video would then be at the top of the thread page. Posting of HTML could then be turned off again but the video should just stay there!
Sounds like a lot of work for Admin, but Downchuck could give the Mods the capability to allow members to post HTML on request ?
It's less hassle than adding a player, and can be done at the click of a tick box !
