I can't find it, to listen to it. The lyrics sound familiar.
Hey, Pup, did you delete your last post in the Anything in Spanish bc it didn't stick to the topic?
I responded and...whoops, your post was gone so my post didn't make any sense.
But it's probly for the best, cause we were breaking the rules.
Anyway...what I said was I got the whole Tower of Babel + Babel fish thing yesterday when you said you used Babelfish. I was like "Ohhh! I get it!"

yea... I guess
I deleted that post indeed... Sometimes I come up with dodgy things that I think I shouldn't have mentioned, but mostly because I think Micosis and his hispanic buddies have all the right to have their spanish thread. Really - why the hell not, in respect of mud already commenting: "I'm not going to delete this post, but remember in the future"
probably meaning: "ok have your thread, but just this one"
...
I sure wish Douglas Adams was still alive

I agree, I have no problem with the thread either.
I should get that movie, I haven't seen it. Heard it was like the book. I've read some of the book here and there. Did you see the movie?

yeah.... The funny thing is a lot of die hard fans thought the film was horrific, because it deviated from the book in more than one aspect... but in the very very last book from the series, "Almost Harmless", Douglas explains that there are an infinite number of universes following an infinite number of possible outcomes, so the fact that the world is destroyed at the end of that book means that it has been destroyed in that book only. Still, it was the very last book in the series...
But it also explains that the Hitchhiker movie was valid, even more so because mr Adams wrote the screenplay himself... It figures... the die hard fans prove wrong (atleast the parts of them that hated the movie)
I think it's a very entertaining movie. Although some of the special effects are a bit cheesy, and yes the story comes on a bit rushed, looking at it as a tribute to the man I'd give it a 90% rating... Some good acting in there, and a very nice solution to depicting Zaphod's second head...
