I didn't! I think this might be considered abuse.

Yeah, it is kinda annoying to have foreign language when your in an English speaking forum. If you're going to speak in another language, at least have the decency to translate it for everyone else. Forums are public, and therefore their contents should be easily accessible.

I'm not going to delete this post, but please remember for in the future.

have you worked out what they're saying?  it could be abusive for all we know.

It's not abusive but it is exclusive.
Micosis said "Anything in Spanish and no need to translate"
Then Iszil said something about Livadream being a moron and not understanding anyone's posts to him, which is common knowledge
Then Micosis gives a history lesson about Rodrigo González. He was some type of musician that did 'mexicanizado' rock. I think they are covers of English songs. But not simple imitations, he completely redid them in Spanish, but (I think) a colloquial (regional) Spanish. Then Micosis talks about his own music. He mentions a song he posted and a review that I did of him and said I would like to hear a longer version. He said only Iszil would understand what he meant and Iszil obviously did understand because he responded to my review by saying something like "and more on the same point". Which I don't understand. But I believe they are just refering to me not understanding what Micosis' song was about.
Anyway, Micosis then says he has longer songs and the ones he posted were just a sample of what he has done and shouldn't be judged as everything he has done. He said he has a song that's 15 minutes long and when he posts it people will say, "shorten the song". Then he calls Iszil a "French Diva"-which I don't understand or I don't translate correctly. Or maybe he's calling me a French Diva.
Then Iszil says, he would praise/worship him if Micosis posted something like Shine on Your Crazy Diamons by Pink Floyd.
I don't understand Iszil's 5th post bc it's slang, not bad slang, computer typing slang. I think it's something about "It hears, I don't function" but I'm not sure what he is referring to.
Anyway, this is just my translation, it's not word for word and I'm sure I don't completely understand. I hope I did not misrepresent Micosis or Iszil.

Micosis, I hope there are no hard feelings about the review, either. Just as you are entitled to post any song you want, I'm entitled to my opinion about it. And that's what BandAmp is about. But I really would like to hear a longer song.

And I think they call me a "kncion"-which I don't know what it is, but I'm sure I've been called worse. Just wish I had been called that to my face.
That's why I say, it is exclusive, because not everyone can translate it.

But, I hold no hard feelings, because I know not every one will like me or my opinions. I give opinions hoping to help bc I received so much help when I first came to this site. So if it helps, then great. If people don't like me or my opinions, then I hate that, but I have been honest with them...and myself.
Peace

well done CC - top marks for tollerence.

Personally I think they're being more than a little nasty.  If they're gonna gossip about you behind your back, the least they can do is communicate in a language you can understand.  I think its really quite rude (not to mention more than a little childish).

Thats MY oppinion and i dont care what anyone else thinks of it.

Good for you Dave! Thanks for sticking up for me
But as I said, I didn't understand it all. Maybe they did, maybe they didn't, maybe it was for Livadream.
EDIT: I think Iszil was trying to buffer the situation, too. He told Micosis not to worry about comments because they are "council".

hmmm not sure in this matter. Is this really gossiping? I found my way into babel fish translation too, and I sure wish Iszil wouldn't use that computer slang for that!

I think that was paranoid to think they were being nasty.

hehe couldn't resist. After all dutch is the best and greatest language in the world, from which all other are derived!! But still you won't hear me complain about having to post in english... don't see why... Also I'm not uptight about this spanish thread either. Words can't hurt. Not even when you don't understand them.

okay. hasta la pasta.
