so, there's a post by kings that is similar to this, but this is a slightly different point i wanted to bring up:

i was just going to search for all the posts made by a certain user in the Lyric Review forum, but when i went to the advanced search page, i realized that it has not been updated since about september of 2005.  you get a drop-down dialoge box to choose which forum section to search in, but it's a hard-coded list.  it's not reading the new forum sections that have been created within the last year and a half or so.  the Lyric forum is one of these sections.

whether the box gets re-hardcoded to match existing forums or if it gets a sleek dynamic piece of code to read the existing forums, i don't care   but, it would be nice if in one way or another, i was able to narrow my search results to a specific, modern forum of my choice

There's a reason why that's done, but it's updated now. I also found another bug in there too that I fixed up.
