Eight Questions of Love
Have you ever been in love?
Have you ever been alone?
Have you ever watched another
Take your woman for his own?

Have you ever seen a lady
Who could smile like the sun?
When you realized you loved her
Did you know she was the one?

When you found you could not have her
That she wasn't yours to keep
Did you hear the sound of laughter
In your dark and troubled sleep?

And on the day before the sun rose
Did she leave you there to cry?
And when you saw her with her lover
Did your love begin to die?

These are very good and extremely to the point.

I guess these lyrics are one part of the story; after a while the sentiment evolves into this: http://forum.bandamp.com/Lyrics_Review/37664.html - I don't mean to spam your thread but I think TLS's lyrics are very good too, invoking associations of the same "lost love" in my own life.

I'm very interested in what type of music you have to this (if you have any) - IMO, the style could go just about everywhere.

Awesome, awesome. I dnt think I can top the last analysis. But thought I shud say that I do like the lyrics, and hopefully we will get to hear the song as well sometime. Thnks to Puppet got to read another set of very good lyrics. It is amazing how some people tend to put unspoken stuff into words. I guess that is the difference between being a poet and not being one.  See u can tell I am not, to say so simple a thing I had to make such a crassy sentence.

no music!
I didn't really write this as a song, but as a poem. I wrote it a long time ago before I got interested in writing lyrics. But it occurs to me as more of a folk/pop ballad than anything.

another good one i think you should make this into a song and if you dont like makeing the music maybe you should colaberate wiht some who will do it? there are plenty of promissing artists that are wonderfull with the makeing of music, i think these "lyrics" would go over VERY well. cant wait to see wha tyou do next!

Hey this is.....
Really good.... yes indeed...

Reminds me of a poem I wrote long long ago about a rose.....  Interesting style....

This would go great as a nice Rock ballad....

                                        THen again... Like PX said..

                                               Could go anywhere...
