Guitar and Synthesizers - Connor McBrine-Ellis
Did all the guitars in Guitar Rig 4 and the acoustic was stereo-miced with 2 condensers.
Drums - Paul Geldart
Drums were miced with sm57 on snare and some random apex dynamic mic on kick.
Bass - Liam Duncan
Bass was DI into Guitar Rig
Mixed by Moi

This mix sounds MUCH more like...open. wow!
Very well balanced I think. I like it
though I definitely wouldn't just take my word for it. but it sounds great.
I like the updated guitars and the acoustic. sounds more epic that way.
dang that synthy breakdown is still munching my crunches. dang yes. so tasty.
great song dude

It's improving - It's pretty good, will come all together when you add the vox.
Personally I'd like to hear the Kick and Bass higher in the mix - Tip: Mix the levels and EQ at low volume first, then gradully increase the volume, then back down and through again until you get to hear all instruments easily - you should be able to hear the kick and bass at all volumes. To do this you may need to tweak the EQ a Bit. Monitor the sounds through different devices to get a happy medium.
Look forward to hearing the next version

Reminds me a lot of Rush - in a good way! This song desperately needs vocals, though - with good lyrics and vocals you'll have a great song here!
On a composition side, the initial bass riff might be expanded a bit to get some resolution to the phrase.
