A soft sad song. Got inspired by the Corrs. My first effort with the irish tin Whistle.

Lyrics:
I wish I was a million miles away from you,
Then I wouldn't have to see you cause it hurts me when I do,
I wish that you would get out of my head and my heart,
There's this thing about my concious, you always seem to be a part.

Wish I was the one that would take you home,
Carry you in my arms over the threashold,
Wish I was the one that would make you smile,
The man of your thoughts if only for a while.

And now that your a milion miles away from me,
There is peace and calm around me but there's something else I seek.
Cause when I lie in my bed and let my thoughts run by,
I just think about you baby, and I do it all the time.
Wish I was the one that would take you home,
Carry you in my arms over the threashold,
Wish I was the one that would make you smile,
The man of your thoughts if only for a while.

Nobody said it would be so difficult
to tell you, why I set you apart,
Nobody said that when you fall in love,
Man you fall so hard that you break your heart.

I always believed you'd come back to me.

What is that effect?
You have done something to the entire thing. Is it the act of turning it into an mp3?
I have gotten that strange... blistering (I just made that up) of the reverb from making a song into an mp3.
It sounds really haunting here, I like it.
The whistle gets some digital distortion, but it doen't seem to take away from the mood of the song.
Cool.

really good, for some reason your voice reminds me of a "sadder" Axl Rose oh and by the way thats a good thing!

keep at it i know you have good songs! you have shown that don't worry about what people say how your "recording is bad" it ain't bad if the music is really good and it is well done

Nice one. You migt try adding some drums. You might try recording it again. The hiss reduction has left the sound a bit mshed up. But otherwise good song.

I really like your phrasing and the distorted sound on your voice sounds really cool. The tin whistle seems to be a bit off key but otherwise it's a great song!

I really enjoyed this song, though as someone said, the quality is shifty.

I enjoyed this song too! I can definitely look past the quality to see what the song really is. But i've gotta say that first tin whistle note is waaay off :P

tune
You have a good vocal range. With some good material and musicians, you'll kick serious butt!

under water?
what fx do you have on your voice? whatever it is, its alittle heavy and making it really hard to hear the vocals. You should focus more on bringing the melody out of the overall mix. i like the Tin whistle

yeah, your vocals sound nice, i would like to hear them better.
redo and repost
