Yeah I was probably not relaxed enough when I recorded the lead.

nice job bro. new to this site would like to collaborate with you once i learn more of how this site works. great job on micing your 12er. what position and type of mics were used.

At the time I think I had an AKG1000s  and a Shure SM58 going through an ART Gold MPA Tube mic preamp recorded on an Yamaha AW16G Standalone DAW

Mic positions - I generally have them pointing 45 degrees slightly pointing down to the 12th fret about 12 inches from the guitar.  It also depends on your room dynamics, I'm lucky, my bedroom has good dynamics for the guitar.
