This song is not in a battle

Mornin'

The first take of this song got us a 'record deal' from the BBC; three demo songs and an interview with the lead singer (thats me) for 120 pounds.
So this is the studio version and the first of three to be played on the radio along with the interview.
Also officially 'my first songs',
I was about 23 so was Guppy on guitar, Ian on bass and Pete Townsend on keyboard !!
O! And a thanks to Charles my old English teacher for his work in the studio !

If you want the lyrics , just ask...

It's a song about waking up

Are you serious!?!?? The guy from The Who!?!?!??!
Or am I confused? Pete Townshend??!?! Or is this a different guy...with the name of Pete Townsend because you wrote Pete Townsend...
In any case I like the who.
This song is actually pretty cool. Not really my style but I like what you have got going here.

Flyer : Bloody Zeppelin again!!!    It must be something in the water!    Cheers for the input.
Mr Kunadiun : Townsend , Towsend , Townshend ..... whatever........No he wasn't in the Who , but he was most definitely in the Why and the When !

Good morning
How are you
Your small world is our our small world
A good morning to you all
To every man from every world
A happy and warm morning to you

A good and fulfilling morning
There is so much for us to do
before the afternoon

A good morning
You make it better
Your day is our day
And the future
Is not so far away

A good morning
Every rising faith
To you a lifting of your hart
In all that it will be

Outside the blanket
The day starts
Beyond the door
Life awaits

For us to say, for us to say

Behind every movement
Love makes

All the best for the day
Be lucky even have faith
What ever must be done
To keep our roots growing fairly
Towards every 'step that is' / 'every foul deed' (it's a translation thing !)

Out into the big world
With a clean hart and an open mind
I'll stand strong on the small world that is
Standing beneath you solid, truly.

Its a very happy song... the lyrics are so upbeat! you might be getting a bit annoyed with this (although you should'nt be b'cos its a major compliment), but you do sound alot like Robbert Plant. lol. Anyway, very nice song.

Everyone was coming to the end of their 3 year University terms, I'd always sat and listened while the guys played and practised, until I asked them 'for one last dance' , so we got together one Sunday morning to work on a lyric of mine, Keith started playing around with some panpipes while we drunk coffee and things. I picked op on Keith noodeling a really cool bit on the panpipes, I span around and told him to play it again because that was it, he went off to do it on the guitar and vuala! we had a melody !

Thanks for the comments guys as always
