Hey man, that's some great stuff!!! I think you've gottta tone down the vocals a bit... kinda drowns out the rest of the instruments...
Yeah jackfancy has a point... it's offbeat quite a bit...
Good lyrics and arrangement...
Anyways, this song could go pretty far... Just gotta work on your recording a bit...
Sounds good!

I'm poor, I have a xenyx 1202 mixer run through audacity with two cheap microphones, I don't plan to re-record this and part of it was recorded live, I'm not a professional and I don't care if it sounds unprofessional so please don't tell me how it sounds low fi
I didn't mean to offend, i'm just giving my opinion. We're all poor though (well, most of us)... so it just depends on what you're priorities are. If you don't care about sounding professional (which you've just told me you don't), then don't worry about it. However, You can get a decent setup for around 100 quid ($180) nowadays, which would buy you a condenser mic, a preamp and an audio interface (of course, it depends on how many mics you want (usually you need at least three to mic a drumkit properly), so that would cost more). Once you got the setup, you could take a bit of time mastering the song, and getting rid of the hiss etc by using editing programmes. A song this good deserves a good recording.... All im saying is, if you love making music, then its worth it
lol man this is GROOVY!!! or something...lol
I have a Xenyx 1204FX...not much better. kudos man
I am really digging this

I'd like to see the words read off the page. They sound pretty good from what I can tell.
You know how I'd like it to sound even tighter since you've been in the position to see me demand that in the past - but I know in a way, this particular recording showcases and enhances the mood of the lyrics and the melody. It probably would've lost a little with each layer of gloss that could've been added.
Kudos are in order.
