It’s in the battle 2008-12

Hi there,

I made this a couple of weeks ago, it just came up in my head,
It's most suitable as film music I think. It begins with some horns,
but then it changes..

just listen

RazoR

Wow. I reallyreallyreally like this man. It does have a bit of a piraty feel...
I love the horn part. Beautiful. This string part is fantastic as well. Drum part is sounding nice as well..
It could use some decrescendos and crescendos in some parts.
I have a feeling I've heard this somewhere before though..
Great job anyhow :]
Got my vote.

I hear some Yanni and Vangelis!
Great arrangements, superb melody and overall feel... Don't get enough of this on BandAmp... Would love to hear more!

Cool
Big Movie feel. wow! My goodness! THis is awesome. I can see it. The ocean, the pirates on the ship, breakers hitting the ship. Blue sky. preparing for an attack. You're playing very well here RazoR. Keep it up...You have got some talent man. Let it flow from the heart and you will never go wrong. Those moments of inspiration is the key for you it sounds like. I record alot my own stuff spontaneous. It flows from the heart. have a great day in Holland!...peace...jgv

Being a self-proclaimed pirate, I had to give this a listen.  Very cool indeed - sounds epic.  I agree with MM that there is something familiar about it - but isn't that what all the great movie songs make you feel?

Yer dawg. Walk de plank or shake up ye gold. Hand over yer wimin or face thee lashes poor souly. Off to Ireland we go (because the song has an irish feel to it).

It was a bit quiet. That's my only contention with the song.

Thanx guys!

I'm trying to go professional, But still working at it,
I need to learn a lot about the business side of music.

I entered the battle with this piece.. so if you would like to vote, please do!

Thanx!

Lovely piece of music - nice blending of instrumental sounds - great overall feeling.
The drums are especially good tying it all together, while providing an interesting rhythm.
Recording quality is top notch.
Only down-side for me is that it's far too short, and has faded ending!
All good other than that.

Well done RazoR.... very nice indeed.

I really enjoyed this, a great little piece of music. I agree it would work better with some dynamics, but I honestly had a clear vision of the kind of scene to this music, and surely that's the point to film music.

With a couple of tweaks this could be fantastic but at the minute you'll have to settle with it just being great
