This is a song about writing this song, as challenged by Oldies... Although I must give credit to Trent Reznor of Nine Inch Nails for the original musical score of this, the music is a rendition of Hurt, and the lyrics are made up as I go along, for the purpose of writing a song about writing the song I'm writing as I'm writing it.  Or something like that...

Nice recording quality too.  Actually I think the whole piece is really good!  Your guitar playing is nice, relaxed, and pretty tight; the vocal delivery is one of the best I've heard from you - it's right there within your vocal range, and the style is perfect for your voice.

All in all it's good, good, good!!!

This is great and funny although its played in minor chords.

This is awesome, Jim. I really love the minor chords, giving it this really depressing, slow sound. Your headset may leave some to be desired, but it didn't stop you this time. It really kind of lends something to the song, that raw, home-produced, one-take feel.

The chorus is totally creepy, absolutely perfect.

" Well I'm playing two finger chords...." Amazing, Jim. Really great job.
