tune i did with local singer. i did instruments and backing vocal. Dave belted out the singing. Not the final mix..but..

the drums need work, and the overall mix needs a tune up, eh?

Awesome!  Crazy cool solo, great rhythm and tight recording.  Reminds me a lot of Bon Jovi.

Really like the sliding guitar.

I think you have already realised the mix needs more work, more so with the effects than the volumes.

I would simply moniter tracks individually starting with the bass and drums, guitar and vox.

I am loving what I believe to be a slide guitar. Yes!  The vocalist has a great voice, but during verse line, he needs to loosen up just a bit, growl a little more and drag a little more, countering you. I don't hear his  "weariness" he sings about. Chorus picks up, good vocal belting and rise of instrumentation. Excellent guitar solo.  Over all a really great piece man! Loving the old school sound!

yes its a great rock piece. the distortion of the guitar is bit synthetic to me. I like the idea. thumbs up

it sounds epic. good old fashioned rock. love the slide guitar, and the solo is well played.  some good singing advice from vk. imo the bass is a bit high. good song

I don't think the vocals really *fit* with the great guitar track. Too heavy I think.

Before the Chorus(Distortion) I agree VK. There needs to be some growl. Chorus harmonies reminded me of Alice in Chains or something from the 90's. As for the Guitar Work on the solo. Nice. (Drop out from Solo to Verse -> Solo fades fine but everything else drops out).
There seems to be a difference between the solo and general lead (general lead has a bit too much presence/treble).

Goodluck on the next mix down. Definatley heavy metal. Would love to hear a full worked over production of this (though the quality at the moment reminds me of demo tapes).

Well, the hard drive on my recorder crashed, and I've lost everything! So, no more re-mixes.
Back to square one!
