This song is not in a battle

This is my first attempt at some ambient stuff. I've collaborated with a chap who's name is 'David Newby'. I'm just playing the guitar with percussion played on my guitar, which was layed down first with the aid of a metronome.  It's the first time I've collaborated with someone for a long time. Please give honest comments.

Thanx

Denis

Love the music the mix is what im not sure about Dennis I hear some sort of unhealthy separation but I might be wrong. The overall concept is great and as you already know I think very highly of your song writting skills so that said i would work the mix a bit of drop volume on key(stings an such) and a little rev on the guitar (maybe)

I've listened carefully to the mix and I can't see much wrong with it personally. Although it was difficult to mix as I'm percussion on the body of my guitar, which I must admit did overpower the normal guitar playing. I would be interested to hear other comments from other members.

Alpha 9! Blip!
Shshshshshsh! Blip!

Amazing song, amazing idea, amazing creation, some bits are a bit rough (for the production that it is) and the rest is totally tripped out!!
I'm getting transported through so many different places and times.
Can I call it 'Monk Music' ?

Cool song. I like the little sitar tease at around 0:50. The intro's a bit excessive in my opinion. I'd consider cutting it down. While it definitely builds suspense it gets a bit redundant after the 1:00 mark. It's fun and weird and trippy but I think you could use another part, I just find the progression gets a bit boring, though maybe I'm just in the wrong state for this sort of music. The percussion sounds great and really adds a lot to the whole thing, particularly the drums. Good stuff.

This song was created off the cuff, long before I learned how to construct a song.  The idea was simple, to create a vib.  Very much experimental, call it unique as it were.  Also it was one of my first collaborations, I learned a lot from it. Thanks for the review

I really enjoy the distance you have on the guitar.
Lovely choice on adding the guitar body perc.
I like the cultural instrumentation-al mash-up you have going with this.
The voice at 2:08 is exactly what I was looking for.
Very well done.

Hi Denis
Sorry I missed this one but do catch up now.
You know we are suckers for this genre of music.I am really enjoying the ambience of this.
Reminds me of some early pink floyd and those trippy euro bands from the 60/70s.
The acc guit has a delicious ring & is the glue ,
nice recording job all around
super trippy.

Has a classical Persian feel to me -- the way you're playing and the tone of your guitar, then the voice adds to that.  Can hear addtl. voice layers in my head - a female voice singing a different piece contrasting with the male voice you have, her voice dancing in between his...anyone else hear voices?  anyone?
