RackDaemon two (collab)
*
This is the placeholder for a new MP3 player

This song is not in a battle

This is a collab with Rackdaemon (music) and Toastedgoat (vocals).  Not sure if this is what your looking for but I had fun doing this anyway cause the music rocks.

EDIT:
The story line is based loosely around this book

I call the lyrics
Undercover :

well i been layin all up in da hood
no worries my peeps cause you know it's understood
gots two whips with da blowers out da tops
rolling in da chips don't ever want to stop
stackin all da paper an slinging an a blinging
pagers going off and da cell phones a ringing

chorus::

it's all a front an da ground works been layed
I'm really undercover now da players being played
you wanna know why we don't cut you slack
they're nine years old  and there dying from  your crack

It's like a circus and your da clown
we play it so smooth your going down

verse2:
know how to play it I don't even adlib
chillin here so long it even feels like like my crib
J's on your feet an AK's on the seat
nothing to me if your slinging your dead meat
running round badass real really kinda funny
we'll shoot you down like a little tiny bunny

Chorus

verse:
ya best hit the floor as we come rollin in
pretend we da preacher start confessing your sins
so now you da player das about to get schooled
but your to damn stupid you got to play the fool
so you pick up da nine start waving it around
now look at your bad ass dead self all  on da ground

this is.. just GREAT.  The vocals fit perfectly... was it a long distance collab? cause it sounds like you've been doing this for a while.  I can't quite get the lyrics but that's all my fault

Excellent!

it was a long distance collab of sorts he posted it here and asked for vocals. So I thought I would try.

Yea this one really good too! definitely!

Cant you put a slight JimK vocal effect on your voice for the verses.
Because I thought the vocal effect on JimKs take to be totally awesome.
But because you are miles ahead of most of us hear when it comes to doing this stuff, you make a more complete song of it. It's just that I'd love to hear 'even' more bollocks to the vocal track!!
I'm just being picky! lol

I really like the lyric too, most of it is strong and flowing, 'oozing' the statements out well, like the music.  I just don't like 'peeps' though, it sticks out awkwardly! 'people' would fit wouldn't it?

yeah I think it would be cool to have that Rob Zombie type of thing on there but then I thought well Rob Zombie alreadyy used tha,t and also, I Don't know  what effect that is or how to go about getting it. lol

Also I think in this instance peeps is the right word.  It's trying to be a rap/rock song ( I studied rap lyrics from top rappers the night before,  now I'm a expert  ...lol) and in keeping with their word base the rappers would of used the word "peeps"
as in  "deez are my peeps"  = These are my people.   But people could work to.

Jim.......           in da hood da same time.
Marino........ thanks

ps. just kidding about the "expert"

Wow!  It's absolutely great to get responses from talented people and actually hear vocals on my music!!  YAHHHHHHHHH!  I've always felt that music is about the voice, and to hear a vocal melody just makes the song so much more meaningful to me.  This is a great job from the Goat, the lyrics, melody, harmonies, all excellent.  I really didn't mean to imply that rapping was a requirement for this tune, I was just leaving it open as an option.  Really the only thing I could ask for on this is a bit more grit, throat wise.  But damn!!! Excellent job!!  Thanks so much for this track.  Honestly,... you oughta do it one more time, mix the vox a little bit louder overall, and just put a bit more broken glass in your throat,.. that would nail it.

Thanks Glad You :Like It
Now that I know you like it ,I will do another take on it, and send you the wav. files, so you can mix it.  I did this pretty fast and was reading the lyrics off  the paper, which to me never has as much feeling in it as when it's memorized and you can concentrate on the vocal sound.

It has a punkish rap sound to it. For some reason I can hear Robin Williams "white guy rapping" type thing in your voice. It's cool, I like the music, I like the voice, it's a cool collab. Great job Goat, Rackdaemon.

Cheers
