Right on mate!!!!, I really like the flow of this one, it takes me to the surf, i dig, great chops, very good song and recording.
mmmm.... I see myself lying in the sun with a good book to read my headphones in my ears and this song playing...
I'll be looking for more of your stuff on here once i have finished rating all the others

Great quality recording!
i'm definately digging the song a lot. however, if i were producing, i'd have arranged things slightly different. For instance (Again, this may just be a "me" thing):
*An Percussion break immediately after the first chorus, and a quick pause/build-up back into the verse.
*Definately a different set of soft-synths. i just feel the song loses a lot of its feeling with those choice sounds.
*possibly a supportive, very low-gain distortion guitar on the chorus. single-strum open chords first and final chorus, ring 'em out.
*Replace lead soft-synth with clean, finger-picked classical guitar?
ok, now for my critique. The lyrics are great, and really tell me a story. great emotion, and feeling behind them. but you really need to step it up a notch on the vocals. The autotune is way too present, particularly on the chorus', final note. I can tell you have a great voice. i'd just like to hear a more solid vocal track. And for fun, i toyed around with this one earlier, and layed down some vocal harnonys. they work WONDERS on the song. i'd strongly urge you to add them. All in all, the best song i've heard all morning :-)

This song is incredible!! I would say that your singing is fine; I've heard vocals that have the same tone. The way you hold the notes is the same as a few other artists, so I wouldn't worry too much about it. I love the way you kept everything together. I would try to get this aired!
