Fairly new song for the fall. Production is not my forte. My dad helped me out by singing some harmonies.

agreed...you demonstrate the power of simplicity (in lyrics, vocals and instrumentation). You effectively convey the ideas and sentiments of the song with this style. Also, this song reflects your skill in creating "hooks" that arrest the listener's attention. This is a song that I could be quite happy, humming as I go through the day. I don't see any problems with the production. The instruments are clear, well-equalized and the vocals emerge quite well.

yep, very nice - don't see a production problem either, all coming through bright and clear, as intended I take. beautiful mood, though I'm not such a fan of the soft genre... however those harmonies have an extra dimension because of your dad and that alone brings me deeper into the song. dunno exactly why... must be the song.

so, well done!

btw, checked your website, looking good. I almost bought that tour story thing

Excellent.........Tom Petty, Bob Dylan nor Neil Young could do it better...great job. What a wonderful way for a father and son to bond. LOVE the harmonica.

What perfectly beautiful song.

While listening I actually thought you sounded Irish in some parts of the vocal.

Would have liked to have heard either more harmony's or the vocal harmonies your dad did to come forwards more in the mix.

This just seems like one of those tracks that burns itself into history. Just gives me the image of America, the great open.

It sounds like you used compression very well
