This song is not in a battle

Oke this one is for flyer (but ofcourse also for the rest to judge)

since Tessa was too repetitive i made some little changes...(just cut some strings here and there)
Maybe this gives another point of view

Let me know if this version is better than TESSA..

Greetings!!

For all those who don't know, this has started to turn into a big collaboration.
I will be working on some trumpet parts, while flyer is writing lyrics.
If we're *lucky* PX will sing the vocs
Hehe not sure if that last bit is serious.....

But either way it should be great once completed.

Exciting
This is really good, very listenable, good beat. Can't wait to hear some horns and vocals added. I'm curious about the collaboration. Flyer, if you are going to write the lyrics, but not sing the vocals, will you write the vocal melody?

I would like to add a break part at 2:28 just for a few bars as a contrast to the rest of the song. with the half of the speed. imo this would spice up the endless repetitions

All in all I like that backing music. Now who wanna sing?

Solid groove
This one lacks nothing for catchiness. Sound like it wants to be a Wishbone Ash style instrumental. The bass is mixed a little low for the higher parts, but it all would want to be remixed to accommodate for the vocals several posts mentioned. Instead of vocals, I would suggest a strong break about 2/3's of the way in. Either related key or slow reintroduction of all the layers from momentary silence. maybe at the point just before the horn comes in full stop, then drums, then bass, then bring in all the lines - and then that snappy horn line. The groove is so good that breaking it then bringing it back wold be very refreshing. Maybe the vocals could do a nice chorus over the near silence as well, if you bring them in. Five Stars!
